Programs
(Please excuse the quality of our earlier videos - It was a learning process!)
The Hatfield Museum and History Society presents five history programs each year, focusing on various parts of Hatfield's history. These programs are free and open to the public. Those who are unable to join in person can still enjoy a recorded version of the presentation at the same time as our in-person presentation, on our Facebook page or our YouTube Channel.)
September 2024 Community Program:
"History of George Didden Greenhouses"
The next Hatfield Museum & History Society Community Program will be "History of George Didden Greenhouses” which celebrates their 110th anniversary this year! The program, which will include a photo presentation, will be presented by Dan Ruch, one of the co-owners of the business, and Nell Ruch, a former owner. This presentation will take place on Tuesday, September 24, in the meeting room of the Hatfield Borough Office, beginning at 7:00 PM. The Borough Office is located at 401 S. Main Street. An elevator provides easy access to the 2nd floor meeting room. We hope that you can join us! (If you can’t join us in person, you will still be able to enjoy a recorded version of the presentation on our Facebook page or our YouTube Channel. The recorded program will be available a few days after our in-person presentation. Watch Facebook for an announcement.) This c.1925 photo show George Didden standing among his cut flower crop.
