Programs

The Hatfield Museum and History Society presents five history programs each year, focusing on various parts of Hatfield's history.  These programs are free and open to the public. Those who are unable to join in person can still enjoy a recorded version of the presentation at the same time as our in-person presentation, on our Facebook page or our YouTube Channel.)

March 2024 Community Program:
"This & That - An Eclectic Look at Hatfield History, Part 15"

The next Hatfield Museum & History Society Community Program will be the 15th annual presentation of “This & That - An Eclectic Look at Hatfield History”. The program which will touch on many different unrelated aspects of Hatfield’s fascinating history. As usual, the presentation will include many great old photographs, some never seen before in any other program! This presentation will take place on Tuesday, March 26, in the meeting room of the Hatfield Borough Office, beginning at 7:00 PM. The Borough Office is located at 401 S. Main Street. We hope that you can join us! (If you can’t join us in person, you can still enjoy a recorded version of the presentation, which will be available at the same time as our in-person presentation, right here on our Facebook page..) Today's photo from around 1947 shows the Select Hosiery Mills factory on W Vine Street, where Sapphire stockings were manufactured. The building is now home to Brooks Instrument.
