Programs
(Please excuse the quality of our earlier videos - It was a learning process!)
The Hatfield Museum and History Society presents five history programs each year, focusing on various parts of Hatfield's history. These programs are free and open to the public. Those who are unable to join in person can still enjoy a recorded version of the presentation at the same time as our in-person presentation, on our Facebook page or our YouTube Channel.)
January 2025 Community Program:
"The Montgomery County Fair"

From 1925 until 1941, the Montgomery County Fair was the event-of-the-year for many Hatfield folks, and for people from across the county. The January Hatfield Museum & History Society Community Program, “The Montgomery County Fair”, will tell the history of the fair, which was held on the grounds of the Hatfield racetrack. The program, which will include many old photos, will be presented by Larry Stevens. This presentation will take place on Tuesday, January 28, in the meeting room of the Hatfield Borough Office, 401 S. Main Street, beginning at 7:00 PM. We hope that you can join us! (If you can’t join us in person, you will still be able to enjoy a recorded version of the presentation on our Facebook page or our YouTube Channel at the same time as our live presentation. Watch Facebook for an announcement.)
